Deciding on Monthly Insurance Premium

There are reasons why people choose to pay their life insurance premium on a monthly basis. For one, they feel they can monitor their budget more if they can pay on a monthly basis in small amounts than having to save each month to pay one huge lump of some once a year. Many will fear they might use their savings for emergency purposes that could have been used to pay the annual insurance premium, then later on, incur problems on having to make up for the lost savings. Another reason is that they immediately need insurance but cannot afford the upfront payment that will provide them annual coverage. Thus, they opt to pay the smaller amount that obliges them to pay monthly. When deciding to pay monthly, you are most often paying a lot more in terms of total annual costs than when you pay annually. Thus, you will have to weigh your options carefully when deciding whether you pay premiums on monthly or annually.
